so big a stash, so little time

First entry

• ended a job I had for 20 years and started a new one
• frogged the complete back of a sweater and a non-competent shawl
• given up on finding zucchini recipes
• broken up with the hairdresser who's been doing an increasingly erratic job on my hair (for many years; you can't say I'm not persistent)
• thrown out piles of papers

So it's a good time to try something else, like a blog. It's funny to think of how private this is, since no one is likely to read it -- but someone might. Hi, whoever you are.
